Ford Custom. 1965–8 (prod. n/a). 2- and 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon. F/R, 240 in³ (I6 OHV), 289, 302, 352, 390, 427, 428 in³ (V8 OHV). The basic full-size Ford sedan, usually sold to fleets, but with all the usual engine options available. Mechanically identical to Ford Galaxie (1965–8), which meant improved suspension and better ride for 1965; engine changes also matched the plusher car’s. Standard and 500 trims through this run; Custom 500 Ranch Wagon introduced for 1968.
