Chevrolet Monte Carlo. 1970–2 (prod. 586,051). 2-door coupé. F/R, 350, 402, 454 in³ (V8 OHV). Personal–luxury coupé, related to Pontiac Grand Prix and, mechanically, to lesser Chevrolet Chevelles. Hardly roomy, but no worse than cars of this segment. Too soft and thirsty, but slightly better handling than competitors. Has many supporters in spite of launch during muscle car craze.
