Buick Riviera. 1974–6 (prod. 57,517 sold). 2-door coupé. F/R, 455 in³ (V8 OHV). Technically the same as before, but with GM’s Colonnade styling theme, and heavy federal bumpers. Opera window, half-vinyl roof option, and a hint of the Sweepspear at the back, but less distinctive alongside the front-drive Oldsmobile Toronado (1971–8) and Cadillac Eldorado (1971–8). V8 had even less power. Sales continued to fall in the wake of the fuel crisis.
