Upgraded U-body platform, called SGM258. Typical Buick styling cues. Initially sold alongside predecessor as more upscale, luxury model. Facelift in 2016 (when 2·5 introduced), 2·0 from 2019, further facelift in 2020, when it became the GL8 Land Business Class, and again in 2022.
