Bentley moves to unitary construction and all-round independent suspension with T and twin Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow I—this series marked the greatest sharing of components with the Rolls-Royce. Customers opted for Bentley not for sportiness—by this time that aspect of the brand had gone—but for relative understatement. Upgrade to larger engine 1970. Two-door saloon from 1966 to 1971; convertible from 1967 to 1971. LWB saloon from 1971 to 1976. One-off coupé by Pininfarina in 1968.
