Beijing BJ40
From AutocadeBeijing BJ40. 2013 to date (prod. n/a). 3- and 5-door convertible UV, 5-door UV. F/A, 1985, 2290 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Already shown at the Beijing show in 2008 as the B40, but it took five years for the BJ40 to appear in series production. Beijing had a history of off-road vehicles, particularly for the People’s Army in the Mao years, and the BJ40 taps into the heritage, though not without some inspiration from the Jeep Wrangler (JK). Larger engine shared with Senova. Plenty of optional extras for those doing more serious off-roading, and for customization. Open five-door exported with a new grille and badges to Kenya as the Mobius 3.
Marque: Beijing
