BAIC BJEV EH. 2017–19 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 54·6 kWh electric. Short-lived electric version of Senova D70, based on the Saab 9-5 (1997–2010), shown in 2014 but not in production till 2017. LCD screens in front headrests for rear-seat passengers, 11-speaker Bose sound system, heated seats all round. Powered by ternary lithium-ion batteries developing 100 kW with a range of 300 km (380 km at a constant 60 km/h). Barely made a splash in the news at the time, and vanished from BAIC’s listings shortly after.
