Full grille incorporating the headlights and longer wheelbase signalled arrival of Mk II. Wind-up windows, full hydraulic brakes, new fascia and interior trim. Larger engine from 1962, supplanting the original. Innocenti licensed manufacture, with A40S (from December 1962) departing from the original in one key aspect.
