F/F, 999 cm³ (I3 DOHC), 13 kWh–1395 cm³ electric–petrol hybrid, 1498, 1984 cm³ petrol, 1498 cm³ CNG, 1968 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC). A new Golf meant a new Octavia, still on the MQB platform, but revised. Longer, wider and taller, but with the same wheelbase. Comfortable ride, and more tech than before. Steering feel a bit vague. Good torque and refinement from the diesel. Plug-in hybrids for the first time, with iV designation, and factory CNG. NX5 denoted Combi; NX3 the saloon.
