Suzuki Vitara
From AutocadeExport version of the Suzuki Escudo, called Grand Vitara for the second and third generations. The fourth-generation model, made in Hungary, downsized, and lost the Grand tag. Not the most refined initially, but helped by their go-anywhere capability; the third- and fourth-generation models went from a ladder frame to a monocoque, and were more car-like. Maruti developed a sub-4 m-long crossover as part of the Vitara family, the Brezza, launched 2016, using a shortened platform; a lengthened one was used for the Indian-made Grand Vitara, from 2023.
