From AutocadeSimca 90A Aronde. 1955–60 (prod. 1,425,329 all Aronde). 4-door saloon, 3-door estate, 2-door hardtop coupé. F/R, 1090, 1290 cm³ (I4 OHV). Restyled with new front and rear ends, and a new Flash 1·3 engine, developed by increasing the bore of the old unit. Trim levels Elysée and Montlhéry introduced, Châtelaine continued to denote the estate body. Facel-bodied Océane convertible and Plein Ciel two-seater coupé from 1957 (q.v.). Most Arondes were replaced by the P60 in 1958, but the old 90A body continued for the base models, called the Aronde Deluxe Six, with a resurrected 6 CV Simca 8 engine, and the Aronde Super Deluxe, with the newer engine, into 1959. The old estate body continued into 1960.
