Proton Saga (BLM). 2008–16 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1332, 1598 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Stretched, booted version of Savvy, with steadily increasing levels of equipment as model years progressed. Mid-term facelift in 2010, dubbed Saga FL; FLX followed eight months later as replacement, with more standard equipment. Aimed at young urban buyers, against cars such as Perodua Myvi. Sold at budget prices on export, and relatively bare at the base level. Not a bad handler thanks to Lotus input, but DOHC engines not the most willing.
