Difference between revisions of "Oldsmobile Aurora"
From Autocade
Latest revision as of 08:10, 2 May 2020GM felt a clean break was needed to rejuvenate Oldsmobile’s flagging sales, and the Aurora was the answer—a flagship with radical looks that didn’t even have visible Oldsmobile badging. Northstar V8 based on Cadillac unit, shrunk down for Oldsmobile use. Initially related to Buick Riviera. Strong start, but sales soon fell, and the second-generation was forced to share more parts and platform with more common GM G-body sedans (Buick LeSabre and Pontiac Bonneville).
