Jointly developed with [[Hyundai]], which released its version as the [[Hyundai Equus (LZ)]]. Long-wheelbase version called [[Mitsubishi Dignity (S43A)|Mitsubishi Dignity]]. Rare for such a powerful car to be driven only by its front wheels at the time. Rivalled [[Toyota Celsior (F10)]] and [[Nissan Cima (Y33)]], but less successful. Mitsubishi’s financial difficulties and the model’s low sales saw a quick end to production in 2001.
