Announced December 2022 announcement, on sale January 2023, second-generation Kona follows Hyundai’s latest design language with a thin, horizontal stripe containing the headlights. Nineteen-inch wheels for the first time, giving Kona a sportier look. Similar horizontal theme inside, including an air purifier. OTA software updates and new-generation infotainment system, along with comprehensive active safety features. Batteries for electric model differed between markets (LG for Europe, CATL for other markets).
