Holden Torana (UC). 1978–80 (prod. 53,007). 4-door sedan, 3-door coupé. F/R, 2834, 3310 cm³ (6 cyl. OHV). Last of the line. Smoother and more modern front end, but always struggled alongside the new Holden Commodore (VB). No V8 this time, but better quality, performance and economy from the sixes. Better handling from Radial Tuned Suspension—certainly better than its main competitor, the Ford Cortina—and four-wheel disc brake option available.

Manufacturing location: Australia

Marque: Holden | Model: Holden Torana | Predecessor: Holden Torana (LX) | Successor: Holden Commodore (VC)

q.v. Holden Sunbird (UC)
