Ford Focus (C346). 2011–18 (prod. n/a). 4- and 5-door saloon, 5-door estate. F/F, F/A, 999 cm³ (I3 DOHC), 1596, 1999, 2260 cm³ petrol, 1560, 1997 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC), 23 kWh electric. Ford unites US and worldwide editions of Focus with advanced third-generation model. Lavishly equipped given the price, very refined, class-leading interior quality and safety; stop–start and active grille shuttering to aid fuel economy, dual-clutch gearboxes. Like C-Max Mk II, Ecoboost units available, including turbocharged 2·0 for ST, featuring different grille. Electric, again with different grille, from December 2011. Being larger, not as agile as predecessor, and greater emphasis on comfort, but on launch considered one of the most complete cars on the market. RS with Ecoboost and four-wheel drive from 2015, with first deliveries in 2016.
