LTD nameplate consigned to history for North America. C_d fell from 0,42 to 0,34. Big change under the skin was the 4·6 OHC V8. Lighter, with driver airbag and optional ABS and traction control. Grille-less look not liked, and a fake grille added for 1993. Mid-term changes in 1995, with new grille, taillights and dashboard. Traditional American motoring, favoured by older buyers.
