Citroën Dyane. 1967–84 (prod. 1,443,493). 5-door saloon. F/F, 425, 435, 602 cm³ (I2 OHV). Boxier, modernized Citroën 2CV with a hatchback, developed by Panhard (which had come under Citroën control), originally with that car’s 0·4-litre engine at launch. Dyane 6 with 0·6 from January 1968, and a new Dyane 4, with the 0·44-litre, replaced the original model in March. Higher compression for 0·6 from September. The Dyane 4 was deleted in 1975. Also made by SAIPA of Iran, as its first car, with the name Jyane, from 1968 to 1980. It was replaced there by the Renault 5.
