OHV), 307, 350, 396 in³ (V8 OHV). Renamed version of the Chevrolet Chevy II Nova of 1968, with all models simply Chevrolet Nova from 1970 on. Unremarkable and below-average reliability; 1973 facelift saw introduction of three-door hatchback sedan. Low roofline meant poor headroom. Emissions’ equipment hurt power and driveability from 1971. Continued in Argentina in to the late 1970s but with Chevy II nameplate (since no va meant ‘does not go’).
Marque: Chevrolet | Model: Chevrolet Nova | Predecessor: Chevrolet Chevy II Nova | Successor: Chevrolet Nova (1975–9)
