Chevrolet Camaro. 2010–15 (prod. 12,236 to mid-2009). 2-door coupé, 2-door convertible. F/R, 3564 cm³ (V6 DOHC), 6162, 7008 cm³ (V8 OHV). Released 2009 for 2010 model year, Camaro brings back the styling of the 1967–9 models but tauter and modernized. On Holden Commodore (VE) GM Zeta platform. Considered a better handler than Ford Mustang with firm suspension—independent at rear. Quality far improved, especially when compared with Camaros of old. Convertibles from 2011 model year. Quickest Camaro, ZL1, from 2012. Refresh in 2014; Z/28 flagship returned in 2014 with LS7 7·0-litre engine.
