BYD Yuan Plus. 2022 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, 49·92, 60·48 kWh electric. Yuan’s second generation is larger, with a simpler, more elegant exterior design. Well equipped for the price. Distinctive interior more polarizing with some jarring design touches. Small 5 in display in front of the driver housing instrumentation; larger 12·8 in in the centre console. MacPherson struts up front, multi-link rear suspension, but not the best handling or grip. Refined with little wind noise. Selling on price in export markets as BYD establishes itself. Exported as Atto 3.
