Essentially a tamer version of the [[Aston Martin Vantage (1993–2000)]] without the superchargers, delivering 349 hp and 369 lb ft of torque. Four-speed automatic standard. Not offered in the US due to type approval issues. Very heavy stretched Volante convertible (from 1997) allowed rear passengers of average height to be accommodated comfortably. Similar changes to Vantage, with [[Citroën CX]] door mirrors giving way to [[Ford]] items; and [[Ford Mondeo Mk I|Mondeo]] door handles added during run.
