Isuzu Piazza (1981–91)
From AutocadeIsuzu Piazza. 1981–91 (prod. unknown). 3-door coupé. F/R, 1949 cm³ (4 cyl. OHC). Initially a beautiful coupé proposal (Asso di Fiori) by Giugiaro on Isuzu Gemini mechanicals. Flawed under the skin and long model life—in a country where four years are normal—meant the Piazza was one of the most disliked in Japan toward the end of its run. Handling by Lotus models in mid-1980s sorted one aspect, but by then Piazza was looking passé. Exported as Isuzu Impulse to North America; Holden Piazza to Australia (from 1986—well past its sell-by date).
Marque: Isuzu | Model: Isuzu Piazza | Predecessor: Isuzu 117 Coupé | Successor: Isuzu Piazza (1991–2)
