Mercury Capri
From AutocadeApart from one generation, the Mercury Capri nameplate denoted an imported line of coupés. Originally these were the Ford Capris made in Germany, with the Capri lettering replacing the Ford on the bonnets, and sold through Lincoln–Mercury dealers. They were replaced by a Mercury version of the Ford Mustang for the 1979 model year, before an Australian-built compact convertible took the nameplate in 1988.
