From AutocadeToyopet Corona/Shinjin Corona (T80/T90). 1970–3 (prod. 1,788,000 approx. incl. T50 and Mark II of this period). 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon, 2-door coupé. F/R, 1490, 1587, 1707 cm³ (I4 OHV), 1858, 1968 cm³ (I4 OHC). Conventionally styled Corona, with a hint of the coke-bottle look, replacing square-edged, “razor blade” grille model. Toyota played catch-up as Nissan Bluebird (510) was already using OHC engines by this generation, but in essence, this was a conventional, unadventurous design. Larger engines from August 1970, with facelift a year later. Another minor facelift followed in August 1972. Exported with Toyota brand. Also manufactured in Korea by Shinjin and was the last car made by the firm in collaboration with Toyota.
Marque: Toyota | Model: Toyopet Corona | Predecessor: Toyopet Corona (T40) | Successors: Toyopet Corona (T100), Chevrolet 1700, Opel Rekord D
