Latest revision as of 11:10, 29 December 2020Originally the export name in some markets for the Mitsubishi Galant Σ. Sigma was formalized from the A160 series in New Zealand (previous models were referred to colloquially as Sigma but continued to carry Galant Σ badges) and carried that name from the start in Australia. The US received the Galant Σ hardtop as Sigma at the end of 1980s and for 1990, while Japan only saw the name for a wider car from 1990, related to the contemporary Mitsubishi Diamante.
