From AutocadeMitsubishi Sigma (GJ/GK/GN). 1982–7 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon, 5-door high-roof wagon. F/R, 1597, 1995, 2555 cm³ (I4 OHC). Mitsubishi Galant Σ (A160) Australianized, with more aerodynamic look. Also sold in UK as Lonsdale, to get around Japan’s “gentlemen’s agreement” with that market, though it later adopted the Mitsubishi Sigma name there, too. Facelift for 1984 to GK series with smoother nose, but one that had already appeared in Japan on the Eterna Σ. GN from 1986, when 1·6 finally deleted, and standard wagon replaced with high-roof model. Finally withdrawn as Australian-developed Magna came on stream.
