Second Japanese small MPV, released after original Nissan Prairie, based on the SSW concept car shown in 1979. Exported with names such as Dodge Colt Vista, Mitsubishi Space Wagon and Mitsubishi Nimbus. Sold on clever packaging and multi-purpose use, and won Wheels’ Car of the Year award in Australia in 1984. Revolutionary at the time and handled better than Prairie.
