From Autocade
Latest revision as of 07:11, 29 June 2014First departure from the original Shiguli, made at the AvtoVAZ factory in Togliatti. In 1984, the Lada Samara—the export name to the VAZ 2108—seemed modern, even if it was rugged under the skin. By the 21st century, the same fate had befallen the car: it was hopelessly outdated, despite revisions under the skin. It would eventually leave production in December 2013.
