Zotye (眾泰/众泰) T600. 2013–18 (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, 1498, 1499, 1799 cm³ (I4 DOHC), 1997 cm³ (I4 OHC). Flagship of Zotye range at launch, as the company entered the Chinese mid-sized SUV market. Smaller turbo at launch, generating 118 kW; 130 kW two-litre added in 2014. Despite earlier Zotyes being properly licensed, T600 was an amalgam of Audi Q5 design cues and Volkswagen grille. Wheelbase at 2,807 mm identical to Audi, which could not be a coincidence. Silver highlights in interior actually quite smart, but nowhere near the sophistication of the European cars it aped; while top model sported traction control, stability control and hill-start assist. Rivalled Haval H6 (2013–20) and BYD’s Toyota Harrier (U30) clone, the S6, and considered competitive in the home market. Replaced by coupé in 2018.
