Volkswagen SP2. 1972–6 (prod. 11,123). 3-door coupé. R/R, 1678 cm³ (F4 OHV). Very stylish sports car developed by Volkswagen do Brasil, using 412 engine and chassis. Flat four mounted at rear, though the SP2 was quite composed and had a good ride. Well made, meant to signal the independence of VW’s Brazilian arm while offering a second coupé counterpart to the Volkswagen Karmann Ghia TC.
