The saloon continued only in China, with the European Passat only available as an estate. Still on the MQB+ platform, but 50 mm increase in wheelbase. Four-link axle at rear and effective adaptive suspension. Increase in standard equipment. Related to the Škoda Superb (2023–) and built alongside it. Saloon finally on the same platform in China from 2025 as the Volkswagen Passat Pro.
