Volkswagen Golf Sportsvan. 2014–19 (prod. n/a). 5-door MPV. F/F, 1197, 1395 cm³ petrol, 1598, 1968 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC). Replacement for Golf Plus, losing the earlier model’s dumpy, tall looks in favour of something sleeker, almost resembling a scaled up Golf VII if not for the extra third side window. Wheelbase up nearly 50 mm, but still shorter than Golf VII Variant. Not as clever in terms of storage areas as other MPVs, but roomy. Drives much like a Golf VII: comfortable, refined and fairly agile, with a good balance between ride and handling.
