From AutocadeVauxhall Victor/Vauxhall VX4/90 (FE). 1972–6 (prod. 44,078 not incl. VX4/90). 4-door saloon, 5-door estate. F/R, 1759, 2279 cm³ (I4 OHC), 3294 cm³ (I6 OHV). Generally believed to be last all-British Vauxhall before Opel took charge of engineering for both brands, though vehicle actually has significant commonalities with Opel Rekord D, including the platform. Mid-Atlantic styling not very graceful and considered bland, as buyers went to Ford Cortina Mk III and Consul instead. Victor 3300 Estate for one year before it donned the Ventora nameplate. Rust an issue for collectors. Renamed VX for 1976.
