Third generation of Toyota’s Recreation Activity Vehicle, complemented by LWB Toyota Vanguard, also sold as RAV4 in some countries. Responsive engines, decent ride, above-average fuel economy. Middle of the road in terms of handling, but still not too bad. Interior on entry-level Japanese models feels very basic, but remained a popular choice for many on-roaders.
