From AutocadeToyopet Crown (RS50/MS50). 1967–71 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon, 2-door coupé, 2- and 4-door pick-up. F/R, 1994 cm³ (I4 OHV), 1988, 2253 cm³ (I6 OHC). Bigger, with more luxury, including AM–FM radio, reading lights in the rear, anti-glare laminated windscreen, and headrests. Styling more Japanese this time, with less of a US influence. Dull in execution, and in driving character. No Masterline variant this time, as Crown became the main line. Attractive coupé from 1968. Mid-term revisions in 1969, with more boxy front end. Also assembled in Korea by Shinjin, again with the two-litre six, but out of reach of most buyers.
