From AutocadeSuzuki Cappuccino (EA11/EA21R). 1991–8 (prod. 26,583). 2-door convertible. F/R, 657, 658 cm³ (I3 DOHC). Suzuki showed that it could still deliver the unexpected, with a tiny rear-drive convertible that was fun to drive, but not that practical, with a small fuel tank and limited boot space. One of the few front-engined, rear-wheel-drive sports at the time. Original engine from the Alto Works, delivering 64 PS, the maximum allowed for kei cars. Well balanced with a 51–49 front–rear weight distribution. Lightweight thanks to aluminium in its structure. Four-wheel disc brakes, with ABS and limited-slip differential as options. Mid-term updates in 1995 with new engine and weight reduction; automatic transmission added.
