Appearing as part of the Impreza line in 2010, XV débuted as a separate model at the Frankfurt show in 2011, before the fourth-generation Impreza was announced in Japan. Essentially a raised Impreza hatchback. Subaru repeated the formula for a second-generation stand-alone XV in 2017.
