Shuanghuan (雙環/双环) CEO/Shuanghuan SCEO. 2004 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, F/A, 1997, 2351 cm³ petrol (I4 DOHC), 2500, 2771 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC). Originally CEO, later SCEO, Shuanghuan was accused by BMW of plagiarism at the 2007 Frankfurt show, and it’s not hard to see why. Side view is fairly similar, though grille is closer to that of a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (J120). Poor fit and finish, and underpowered. Technically closer to an old Mitsubishi Pajero (V14) than any BMW (its petrol units are from Mitsubishi), and selling on price.
