Originally a rebadged Samsung SM3 (N17), itself based on the Nissan Bluebird Sylphy (G10) and Nissan Almera (N16). Scala was later the name used on an unrelated model in India, a Mumbai-designed, Chennai-built variant of the Nissan Sunny (L02B), and on the Mégane III in Iran.
