F/F, 1870 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC), 1995, 2188 cm³ diesel, 1998 cm³ petrol (I4 DOHC), 2958 cm³ diesel, 3498 cm³ petrol (V6 DOHC). Fourth generation of ground-breaking minivan, developed without Matra input. Renault Laguna II platform. Use of weight-saving composites, including plastic and aluminium, for body. Interior still very versatile but not the most spacious—no longer as clear a market leader as it once was. Large and refined, but hardly a rewarding drive. Facelift in 2012 to new Renault corporate look.
