Renault Captur (JB/HJB/HJE). 2019 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, 999 cm³ (I3 DOHC), 1332 cm³ petrol, 1461 cm³ diesel, 1598 cm³–1·3 kWh petrol–electric hybrid, 9·8 kWh–1598 cm³, 10·5 kWh–1598 cm³ electric–petrol hybrid (I4 DOHC). Evolutionary looks for second-generation Captur. Engines similar to Clio V’s, except hybrid (due 2020) uses a 1·6-litre petrol engine mated to two electric motors. Longer by 11 cm with up to an extra 81 ℓ of boot space; only 2 cm more in wheelbase. Interior similar to Clio’s. Top models have 9·3-inch vertical touchscreen and 10·2-inch digital instrumentation, as well as a motorway assistant (early autonomous driving). Twinned with Mitsubishi ASX (2022–). Major facelift 2024, with recycled materials in interior used more widely.
