Reliant Scimitar GTE (SE5). 1968–72 (prod. 4,311 approx.). 3-door estate. F/R, 2994 cm³ (V6 OHV). Sporting estate, based on regular Reliant Scimitar GT. To turn it into a four-seater, Tom Karen of Ogle Design extended the cabin rearward, creating a sporting grand tourer. Considered innovative on launch, and a good performer. Rear wiper eventually fitted to this series, another innovation from Reliant.
