Nissan Silvia (S10)
From AutocadeNissan Silvia (S10). 1975–9 (prod. 48,438). 2-door coupé. F/R, 1770, 1952 cm³ (I4 OHC). Silvia name revived for Nissan’s answer to the Toyota Celica (A20) but on a compact Nissan Sunny (B210) platform and cart springs at rear. Single body style, engine from Bluebird U, with larger unit for export. Emissions’ control technology, called NAPS, from 1976. Mid-term changes 1977. Never a success against the Celica. Exported as 200SX to North America.
