Nissan Laurel (C130). 1972–7 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 2-door coupé. F/R, 1770, 1815, 1990 cm³ (I4 OHC), 1998, 2565, 2753 cm³ (I6 OHC). Laurel goes mid-Atlantic in looks, with coke-bottle styling sticking close to US trends. Coupé featured lights built into the rear bumper. Platform shared with Nissan Skyline (C110). Changes to engines through run due to emissions’ regulations. Six electric models made for an expo in Okinawa in 1974.
