Morris Oxford III
From AutocadeMorris Oxford. 1956–9 (prod. 58,117 incl. Oxford IV). 4-door saloon, 4-door estate (with 2 rear doors). F/R, 1489 cm³ (I4 OHV). Facelift for II, with more powerful B-series engine, and optional semi-automatic gearbox. Small fins on rear wings, in an attempt to stay with current trends. Revised interior. Woody estate replaced by Series IV in 1957. Reasonably comfortable for its time. Formed the basis of Hindustan Ambassador (1959–2014) in India.
