Second-generation Eclipse adds convertible to the line-up, as well as a Chrysler two-litre engine complementing two Mitsubishi ones. Similar to the previous model under the skin. Convertible available with FWD only; turbocharged models had AWD option. Pretty design for its time. Dual airbags standard.
