Mercury Caliente. 1967 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 2-door hardtop coupé, 2-door convertible. F/R, 200 in³ (I6 OHV), 289, 390, 427 in³ (V8 OHV). After years as a Comet trim level, Caliente became a model in its own right for 1967 only. A step up from Capri, with nylon upholstery and wood grain on doors, and the option of a vinyl roof for sedan and hardtop coupé. Convertible also one up on the Capri.
