Largest Mazda SUV to date, replacing the CX-9 in North America, and addressing complaints about lack of interior room. On a platform designed for both all- and rear-wheel drive, and longitudinal engines. With a mild increase in bulk over the CX-9, the third row and cargo space were not that commodious against the competition. Well equipped, though could be pricey in some markets. Decent performance, and good fuel economy.
